Spectators: 6696 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1696, VIP seats: 0) John Azpilcueta started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the game, Wilmer Morante was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dueta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Guachanama the free kick. After 3 played minutes Dueta got a freekick which was hit by Wilmer Morante. CD Guachanama's José-Manuel Garro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 4th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Dueta. Gómez Carrasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Cántaro Peñalba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. John Azpilcueta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stacio Sabando having to interfere. CD Guachanama's Stacio Sabando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ysidro Ontiveros in the 23rd minute of play. When Wilmer Morante was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 35 minutes had been played. Wilmer Morante hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. If Nacho Madrigal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the game, Corozo Pernau cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Cántaro Peñalba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gómez Carrasco made a kick off. Cántaro Peñalba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Corozo Pernau went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Gómez Carrasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gómez Carrasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Cántaro Peñalba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cántaro Peñalba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gómez Carrasco in the 73rd minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Corozo Pernau cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Cántaro Peñalba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of CD Guachanama booed when Dueta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Solis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gómez Carrasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cántaro Peñalba having to interfere. When Gómez Carrasco came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the CD Guachanama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gómez Carrasco couldn't finish the play. Stacio Sabando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nacho Madrigal in the 97th minute. CD Guachanama walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
