After a defensive mix-up in Green Lanterns United's zone, Romero Descarrega stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reasco Avendaño came out of the goal and Romero Descarrega tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the match, Fricson Neira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Reasco Avendaño, 0-6. If Urtsua Requenes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute Mendoza Victoria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudolf Gajdošík saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Baena in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Reasco Avendaño, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Victorino Tabares's late challenge caught a C. S. D. If Romero Descarrega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, C. S. D. MACARA's Martín Cáceres got a free kick in the 81st minute. When Mendoza Victoria came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Green Lanterns United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mendoza Victoria couldn't finish the play. Hasan Ali Sanal kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Green Lanterns United's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Baena came free, but Reasco Avendaño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute Romero Descarrega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reasco Avendaño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urtsua Requenes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rudolf Gajdošík showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mendoza Victoria, who was totally free with the ball in the 100th minute. C. S. D. MACARA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
