Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mendoza Victoria took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Miñaca in the 3rd minute of play forced Green Lanterns United's goalkeeper Reasco Avendaño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Pepito Madaria successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Reasco Avendaño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Miñaca, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Mendoza Victoria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Pepito Madaria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Green Lanterns United's Reasco Avendaño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Millera in the 18th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Santos Lizanein was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juanitos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Green Lanterns United the free kick. After 22 played minutes Juanitos FC got a freekick which was hit by Santos Lizanein. After 23 played minutes, Green Lanterns United's Victorino Tabares shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pepito Madaria came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Green Lanterns United reached it. Martin Armentia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pepito Madaria. Juanitos FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Urtsua Requenes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pepito Madaria having to interfere. In the 35th minute, John Millera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juanitos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Reasco Avendaño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Miñaca in the 39th minute of play. If Martin Miñaca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reasco Avendaño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Millera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44thth minute of the game Mendoza Victoria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Juanitos FC's Pepito Madaria was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half Juanitos FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martin Miñaca to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Martin Miñaca recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Reasco Avendaño. Pepito Madaria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urtsua Requenes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Green Lanterns United getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Roger Arriaga hit a great ball. Reasco Avendaño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Miñaca in the 66th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Juanitos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Urtsua Requenes came free, but Pepito Madaria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mendoza Victoria in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pepito Madaria saved Juanitos FC from getting behind. 71 minutes into the match, Martin Miñaca dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Reasco Avendaño, 0-4. In the 74th minute of the match, John Millera got a very nice opportunity to score, but Reasco Avendaño was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 80 minutes into the match, Martin Miñaca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reasco Avendaño. Green Lanterns United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Miñaca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. After 83 played minutes Juanitos FC got a freekick which was hit by Xalvador Carasa. Vinicio Ferreiras was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 87 minutes into the match. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Juanitos FC! Mendoza Victoria shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 91st minute, Mendoza Victoria left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Green Lanterns United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. After a defensive mix-up in Green Lanterns United's zone, Xalvador Carasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reasco Avendaño came out of the goal and Xalvador Carasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. John Millera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Reasco Avendaño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juanitos FC played a much better game than Green Lanterns United and deserved their victory. The Green Lanterns United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
