After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, George Parcero managed to get in a good position for a shot. LIGA DE QUITO's supporters rose to their feet, but George Parcero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Camus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Fonseca in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg William Camus saved CS Emelec from getting behind. In the 16th minute, LIGA DE QUITO's Jorge Fonseca ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind William Camus. William Camus yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a rather tough play, LIGA DE QUITO's Fricson George got a free kick in the 19th minute. Xiao Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Fonseca did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised William Camus 30 minutes into the match. If Jorge Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jorge Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39 played minutes LIGA DE QUITO got a freekick which was hit by Kevin De Bruyne. In the 42nd minute, Jorge Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jorge Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Camus having to interfere. Velasco Casiano's late challenge caught a LIGA DE QUITO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Velasco Casiano helped the player get up and apologised. Velasco Casiano hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

Jorge Fonseca took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised William Camus. William Camus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Jorge Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The LIGA DE QUITO fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when LIGA DE QUITO's Jorge Fonseca looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sergio Herce struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. William Camus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LIGA DE QUITO. 68 minutes into the game, LIGA DE QUITO's Jorge Fonseca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. William Camus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. William Camus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludomil Niziolek in the 72nd minute of play. Jorge Fonseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but William Camus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. When LIGA DE QUITO's Jorge Fonseca in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CS Emelec's goalie prevented a goal. When LIGA DE QUITO's Jorge Fonseca, in the 76th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for LIGA DE QUITO. 79 minutes into the match, CS Emelec's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Fonseca came free, but William Camus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Jorge Fonseca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. William Camus was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. 89 minutes into the match, CS Emelec's goal looked a bit too open when Ludomil Niziolek came free, but William Camus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute LIGA DE QUITO were awarded a corner. Santo Pino went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Santo Pino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this William Camus quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. William Camus came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by LIGA DE QUITO's Jorge Fonseca. But to his dismay, Jorge Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0.
