Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ovando Urquizu made the kick off which started today's match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Edson Negro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ancalu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edson Negro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valencia Payno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blandón Muxi in the 9th minute of play forced Ancalu FC's goalkeeper Jonathan Arzuriaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ancalu FC's goalkeeper Jonathan Arzuriaga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Edson Negro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blandón Muxi succeeded in the game's 15th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Xaver Armona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Arzuriaga having to interfere. When Xaver Armona came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Wichimi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xaver Armona couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the match, Wichimi's Blandón Muxi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Arzuriaga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 28th minute of the match, Xaver Armona got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Arzuriaga was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Blandón Muxi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Arzuriaga having to interfere. Blandón Muxi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xaver Armonas short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Jonathan Arzuriaga to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ayoví Cruz during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ancalu FC's Ximeno Vall got a free kick in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blandón Muxi in the 43rd minute of play forced Ancalu FC's goalkeeper Jonathan Arzuriaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Arzuriaga was a little too slow when Blandón Muxi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After 51 played minutes Ancalu FC got a freekick which was hit by Zuhaitz Mondrevilla. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Blandón Muxi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wichimi's supporters rose to their feet, but Blandón Muxi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Arzuriaga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ancalu FC's goalkeeper Jonathan Arzuriaga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Ximeno Vall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xaver Armona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blandón Muxi took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Arzuriaga. Jonathan Arzuriaga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After having played for 66 minutes, Edson Negro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ancalu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edson Negro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Ancalu FC's Ovando Urquizu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valencia Payno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Arzuriaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blandón Muxi in the 72nd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Ancalu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Blandón Muxi came free, but Jonathan Arzuriaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ovando Urquizu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valencia Payno having to interfere. Rosero Manzanares hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute of the match Ancalu FC got a corner. Wichimi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Moreta Bidaurre ran over to the corner to take the kick. 86 minutes into the match, Wichimi's goalkeeper Valencia Payno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edson Negro. Jonathan Arzuriaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blandón Muxi in the 88th minute of play. Valencia Payno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovando Urquizu in the 91st minute of the match. The supporters of Ancalu FC booed when Wichimi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Rocafort didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ximeno Vall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Wichimi fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ancalu FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
