Mårten Persson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valiente Capelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mårten Persson, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Mårten Persson scored 1-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valiente Capelo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mårten Persson in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valiente Capelo saved PANTERA from getting behind. Dep. Kito's attack was well implemented in the 36th minute, but when Mårten Persson was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Mårten Persson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 51st match minute, Dep. Kito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Rundin to maneuver through the defense. After 53 played minutes Dep. Kito got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Valcazar. 55 minutes into the match, Lisandro Teja dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rodolfo Pas, 2-1. If Lisandro Teja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mårten Persson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 63 minutes into the match, PANTERA's goal looked a bit too open when Ramón Buiza came free, but Valiente Capelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66thth minute of the game Mårten Persson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PANTERA's Valiente Capelo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guerrón Zamarro kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After 71 minutes, Vilson Barja mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dep. Kito and the PANTERA players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of PANTERA booed when Dep. Kito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vilson Barja didn't get a good kick on the ball. James Pedrosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Rodolfo Pas made a huge save. If Ramón Buiza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PANTERA's Valiente Capelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramón Buiza in the 78th minute of play. Ramón Buiza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valiente Capelo having to interfere. Mårten Persson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Valiente Capelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mårten Persson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valiente Capelo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramón Buiza went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Mårten Persson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valiente Capelo was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. There was no doubt that Dep. Kito were the better team. Dep. Kito's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
