That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Zilar Avellano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trota Pallar, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Zilar Avellano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trota Pallar in the 21st minute of play. Ilapo SC's Trota Pallar got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 27 minutes, Sanchez Mascareñas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maquina del Mal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sanchez Mascareñas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Sanchez Mascareñas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 37 minutes, Trota Pallar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ilapo SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Trota Pallar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Maquina del Mal's Xuban Cabaña sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vladimiro Saracha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Xuban Cabaña's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimiro Saracha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sanchez Mascareñas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Ilapo SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zosimo Ziarza to maneuver through the defense. Vladimiro Saracha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sanchez Mascareñas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sanchez Mascareñas struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Vladimiro Saracha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maquina del Mal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xuban Cabaña got free with Vladimiro Saracha in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vladimiro Saracha made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Xuban Cabaña sent off a good shot on target. Celso Igartua blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zilar Avellano having to make a save. 77 minutes into the match, Maquina del Mal's Sanchez Mascareñas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vladimiro Saracha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zosimo Ziarza took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zilar Avellano. Zilar Avellano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Ilapo SC's Vladimiro Saracha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sanchez Mascareñas in the 89th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ilapo SC's zone, Xuban Cabaña stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimiro Saracha came out of the goal and Xuban Cabaña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sanchez Mascareñas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Vladimiro Saracha managed to avoid a goal in the 97thth minute, when Maquina del Mal's Xuban Cabaña fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Ilapo SC were victorious despite being under pressure from Maquina del Mal for much of the match.
