The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pepe Paul recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pepe Paul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Joel Bolimburu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vladimiro Saracha. Ilapo SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Bolimburu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 28 played minutes Ilapo SC got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Bada. Ilapo SC's Vladimiro Saracha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Bolimburu in the 30th minute of play. Pepe Paul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Trota Pallar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Omar Arada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st of the match, Trota Pallar tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Omar Arada got in the way and made a wonderful save. Celso Igartua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Joel Bolimburu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Vladimiro Saracha made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Ilapo SC's zone, Pepe Paul stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimiro Saracha came out of the goal and Pepe Paul tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pepe Paul received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vladimiro Saracha came out and tried to block the shot, but Pepe Paul slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pepe Paul in the 68th minute of play forced Ilapo SC's goalkeeper Vladimiro Saracha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Zosimo Ziarza fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ilapo SC's protests and gave Zosimo Ziarza a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th minute, Zosimo Ziarza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salas Villajane charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salas Villajane the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Joel Bolimburu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Celso Igartua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Los Galacticos F.C - nWo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
