Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) Ubaldo Sayago started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Calle Pedraja came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the LIGA DE QUITO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Calle Pedraja couldn't finish the play. After 11 played minutes LIGA DE QUITO got a freekick which was hit by Ubaldo Sayago. Valentin Villaluenga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xove Olmeda in the 14th minute. Xove Olmeda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. LIGA DE QUITO's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Patricio Trarigo scored to the left of an out of position Valentin Villaluenga, making the score, 3-0. In the 30th minute, Manuel Barriga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aurora FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. If Ubaldo Sayago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentin Villaluenga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Barriga, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manuel Barriga made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Aurora FC's Oswaldo Ricaredo got a free kick in the 61st minute. The supporters of Aurora FC booed when LIGA DE QUITO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calle Pedraja didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute of the match Monge Pueyo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valentin Villaluenga showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Leonardo Docio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mina Velon, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Valentin Villaluenga came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Aurora FC's Manuel Barriga. But to his dismay, Manuel Barriga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Valentin Villaluenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Barriga in the 96th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Aurora FC had played much better football throughout.
