Spectators: 6682 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 0) Penablanca's Ruperto Mediano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Gustavo Mardones got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 8 minutes, George Forcadas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Penablanca's supporters crossed their fingers, but George Forcadas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Penablanca's goal looked a bit too open when Boris Barrera came free, but Aragón Cantalapiedra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. George Forcadas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Mario Cura when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 22 minutes into the match, Casateja's goalkeeper Mario Cura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by George Forcadas. In the 25thth minute of the game Boris Barrera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Penablanca's Aragón Cantalapiedra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 26 minutes, Boris Barrera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Casateja and the Penablanca players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute, Villafuerte Novajas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 30 played minutes Penablanca got a freekick which was hit by Cotera Negral. If Boris Barrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. George Forcadas struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Mario Cura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Penablanca. When Salas Aries came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Penablanca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salas Aries couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Mediano in the 43rd minute of play forced Casateja's goalkeeper Mario Cura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gustavo Mardones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramos Lamadrid to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Mardones in the 55th minute of play forced Penablanca's goalkeeper Aragón Cantalapiedra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casateja's Mario Cura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Mediano in the 56th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boris Barrera got free with Aragón Cantalapiedra in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 62 played minutes, Penablanca's Santiago Arneu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mario Cura came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Penablanca reached it. If Gustavo Mardones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Penablanca getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Salas Aries hit a great ball. After 68 minutes, Bottero Urruchi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Penablanca and the Casateja players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mario Cura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Mediano in the 70th minute of play. Ramos Lamadrid's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aragón Cantalapiedra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. The supporters of Penablanca booed when Casateja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Mardones didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 86 minutes of play, Penablanca's George Forcadas made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mario Cura was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 95th minute, Ramos Lamadrid fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Aragón Cantalapiedra, passed just outside the right post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Penablanca fans cheered their team off the field, for while Casateja had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
