An unexpectedly hard shot by Lech Pionek in the 3rd minute of play forced Pokemon GOAL's goalkeeper Dario Castriciones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Almendral's Sixto Baladi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dario Castriciones made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Nico Fernandez scored 0-2 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dario Castriciones, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dario Castriciones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nico Fernandez in the 18th minute of the match. Dario Castriciones showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Baladi, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. With 20 minutes on the clock, Enrique Benavides commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Almendral's Enrique Benavides got a free kick in the 21st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, De-Jesús Polo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pokemon GOAL's supporters rose to their feet, but De-Jesús Polo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cuero Estany breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dario Castriciones didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronald Veermäe went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Dario Castriciones stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronald Veermäe's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Sixto Baladi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dario Castriciones. Pokemon GOAL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sixto Baladi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. A collision led to Pokemon GOAL getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Klimowitz Pulido hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronald Veermäe in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dario Castriciones saved Pokemon GOAL from getting behind. Ronald Veermäe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Castriciones having to interfere. Dario Castriciones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Baladi in the 41st minute of the match. The corner led Almendral's Lech Pionek to fire away a dangerous shot which Dario Castriciones despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Almendral's Ronald Veermäe in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pokemon GOAL's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 45 minutes, Sixto Baladi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Almendral's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sixto Baladi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Almendral were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Ronald Veermäe fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Almendral's protests and gave Ronald Veermäe a yellow card for diving instead. Ronald Veermäe kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Dario Castriciones was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ronald Veermäe showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 59 minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Espinoza Campero reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dario Castriciones. The goal made the score 0-7. If Ronald Veermäe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 67 minutes, Lech Pionek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Almendral's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lech Pionek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dario Castriciones made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronald Veermäe in the 71st minute. The Almendral fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Almendral's Espinoza Campero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Ronald Veermäe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dario Castriciones was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Dario Castriciones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronald Veermäe in the 82nd minute of the match. If Zuzen Sedeño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Almendral's Ronald Veermäe dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. Teodoro Pablo's late challenge caught a Almendral's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Pablo helped the player get up and apologised. 92 minutes into the match, Almendral's Ronald Veermäe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dario Castriciones narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 93 minutes of play, Almendral's Lech Pionek made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dario Castriciones was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match was over Almendral could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pokemon GOAL throughout the match.
