Uriel Novajas made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Xosepe Loizaga sent off a good shot on target. Zambotambo FC's Uriel Novajas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Montemayor in the 9th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Xarles Neses hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zambotambo FC's Uriel Novajas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Zambotambo FC from getting a goal against them. Santos Pravia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Marcelo Pereña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zambotambo FC's Uriel Novajas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Zambotambo FC from getting a goal against them. Uriel Novajas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xosepe Loizaga's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Valiente Cordovilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Pereña having to interfere. If Valiente Cordovilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 38th minute, Xarles Neses got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teofilo Corono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriel Novajas having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Zambotambo FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! Uriel Novajas went to the wrong direction when Xavies Betancurt was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santos Pravia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Uriel Novajas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xosepe Loizaga in the 58th minute of play. Marcelo Pereña didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valiente Cordovilla went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rey Espejo during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rey Espejo kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. When Chancama's Leonides Montemayor, in the 64th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Chancama. Xavies Betancurt hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Santos Pravia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Marcelo Pereña when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marcelo Pereña made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valiente Cordovilla in the 74th minute. Zambotambo FC's Uriel Novajas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Montemayor in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th minute Xosepe Loizaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Novajas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Zambotambo FC's Valiente Cordovilla ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcelo Pereña. Marcelo Pereña yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Marcelo Pereña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Pravia, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Leonides Montemayor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zambotambo FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
