The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Brama Sudaryono notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Zambotambo FC's Uriel Novajas. Uriel Novajas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Brama Sudaryono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Arras struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Uriel Novajas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Guayaquil. If Brama Sudaryono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brama Sudaryonos short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Uriel Novajas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Brama Sudaryono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Uriel Novajas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uriel Novajas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brama Sudaryono in the 22nd minute. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Brama Sudaryono put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Uriel Novajas. After 26 minutes of play, Atletico Guayaquil's Brama Sudaryono made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Uriel Novajas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Uriel Novajas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Toria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brama Sudaryono in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Uriel Novajas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 36 minutes, Brama Sudaryono managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Guayaquil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brama Sudaryono was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Xandro Casas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute, Zambotambo FC's Weterio Sevane seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Weterio Sevane the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Zambotambo FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Weterio Sevane had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Zambotambo FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Weterio Sevane hit a great ball. Atletico Guayaquil's Xandro Casas shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 41st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Uriel Novajas but with some difficulty. Rey Espejo hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

53 minutes into the game, Atletico Guayaquil's Brama Sudaryono nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Uriel Novajas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 58th minute, Bruno Toria made a precise shot to the right of Uriel Novajas. Zambotambo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brama Sudaryono in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uriel Novajas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brama Sudaryono in the 64th minute of play forced Zambotambo FC's goalkeeper Uriel Novajas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uriel Novajas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Arras in the 71st minute of play. Uriel Novajas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brama Sudaryono in the 74th minute of the match. Uriel Novajas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brama Sudaryono's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Manuel Arras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Guayaquil's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Arras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uriel Novajas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Brama Sudaryono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Manuel Arras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Arras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Zambotambo FC's Camilo Haza ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gelmiro Bergada. Gelmiro Bergada yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-1. Uriel Novajas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mendez Nobal in the 93rd minute of play. Zambotambo FC's Uriel Novajas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brama Sudaryono in the 96th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Atletico Guayaquil had played much better football throughout.
