Cachitama SC's Victorio Cuellar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Cachitama SC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xaver Malta in the 18th minute of play forced Atlético del Pacifico's goalkeeper Veremundo Chacin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Angelo Acosta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Veremundo Chacin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Cachitama SC's goalkeeper Victorio Cuellar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cagua Egaña. Veremundo Chacin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Acosta in the 24th minute of play. Atlético del Pacifico's Veremundo Chacin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Acosta in the 26th minute of play. Zenon Gamez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Victorio Cuellar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Cachitama SC's Angelo Acosta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Veremundo Chacin. That made the score 2-1 after 55 minutes of play. In the 58th minute, one of Cachitama SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cachitama SC. The referee gave Atlético del Pacifico a penalty, 60 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pavel Nogueira, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cachitama SC's Victorio Cuellar. 3-1. Cachitama SC's Romo Boiso shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 68th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Veremundo Chacin but with some difficulty. Xaver Malta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Veremundo Chacin made a huge save. Xaver Malta's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Veremundo Chacin firmly grabbed it by the left post. Pavel Nogueira's late challenge caught a Cachitama SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pavel Nogueira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, Atlético del Pacifico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute Angelo Acosta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Veremundo Chacin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Veremundo Chacin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Xaver Malta showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 78 minute of play.
