Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Carlos Morillo got the match started through his kick off. Imbabuela FC's Vicente Larramendi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Morillo in the 3rd minute of play. Vicente Larramendi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelino Mier in the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute of the match UD Pillig got a corner. Imbabuela FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carlos Morillo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Carlos Morillo made a great header on UD Pillig's corner, it was just that Imbabuela FC's Vicente Larramendi managed to reach the ball for a save. Castro Luciano hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. When Carlos Morillo came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the UD Pillig fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Morillo couldn't finish the play. If Carlos Morillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute Carlos Morillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Larramendi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Imbabuela FC's Vicente Larramendi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Morillo in the 26th minute of play. Marcelino Mier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Vicente Larramendi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Morillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Larramendi having to interfere. Carlos Morillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vicente Larramendi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Morillo ran back to his position shaking his head. Vicente Larramendi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Morillo in the 37th minute of the match. When Rios Aramberri came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the UD Pillig fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rios Aramberri couldn't finish the play. Vicente Larramendi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Morillo in the 39th minute of play. A collision led to Imbabuela FC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Aguinaga Merino hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hugo Morellana to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Aguinaga Merino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Denis Valcazar. UD Pillig's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aguinaga Merino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Vicente Larramendi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelino Mier in the 60th minute of the match. Vicente Larramendi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Morillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Imbabuela FC's Ubendu Villafranca got a free kick in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Morillo in the 66th minute of play forced Imbabuela FC's goalkeeper Vicente Larramendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, UD Pillig's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Morellana came free, but Denis Valcazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Morillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, UD Pillig's Ysidro Bornes got a free kick in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Morillo in the 83rd minute of play forced Imbabuela FC's goalkeeper Vicente Larramendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Morillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rios Aramberri got free with Vicente Larramendi in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ximun Moron in the 91st minute of play forced UD Pillig's goalkeeper Denis Valcazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd match minute, Imbabuela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xandro Tresgallo to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Morillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Larramendi having to interfere. Many of UD Pillig's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. UD Pillig may have spent more time on the ball, but Imbabuela FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
