An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Morellana in the 10th minute of play forced Tugaduaya FC's goalkeeper Camilo Serra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aguinaga Merino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Morellana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Serra having to interfere. If Aguinaga Merino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the game, Hugo Morellana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Camilo Serra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Camilo Serra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aguinaga Merino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Imbabuela FC's zone, Zigor Hortigosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Larramendi came out of the goal and Zigor Hortigosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Imbabuela FC's Hugo Morellana in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tugaduaya FC's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zigor Hortigosa during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The wind increased when Zigor Hortigosa made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Fabian Barria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st match minute, Imbabuela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xandro Tresgallo to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Tugaduaya FC's Zigor Hortigosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vicente Larramendi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ximun Moron during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Tugaduaya FC booed when Imbabuela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ximun Moron didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Marcelo Valbas came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Tugaduaya FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Valbas couldn't finish the play. In the 71st minute Cagua Belloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Larramendi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cagua Belloso struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Vicente Larramendi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tugaduaya FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Cagua Belloso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tugaduaya FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cagua Belloso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Larramendi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hugo Morellana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Serra having to interfere. If Hugo Morellana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aguinaga Merino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camilo Serra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. The Imbabuela FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Imbabuela FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
