Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Matias Concha got the match started through his kick off. If Carlos Morillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. UD Pillig's Macías Zaballos got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carnero Laine stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Morillo's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Carnero Laine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Morillo in the 7th minute of the match. Carnero Laine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose-Antonio Hordoñez in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Carlos Morillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Denis Valcazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Concha in the 12th minute of the match. If Carlos Morillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jose-Antonio Hordoñez came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the UD Pillig fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose-Antonio Hordoñez couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Morillo in the 22nd minute of play forced UD Limbo's goalkeeper Carnero Laine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. UD Limbo's Carnero Laine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose-Antonio Hordoñez in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th match minute, UD Pillig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rios Aramberri to maneuver through the defense. Denis Valcazar was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rafael Helica. 27 minutes into the match, Carlos Morillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carnero Laine. UD Limbo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Morillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 33rd match minute, UD Pillig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose-Antonio Hordoñez to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 37 minutes, Carlos Morillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Pillig's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Morillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rios Aramberri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute, Carlos Morillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UD Pillig fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Morillo made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Ysidro Bornes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UD Pillig's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UD Limbo the free kick. In the 53rd minute, Ysidro Bornes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carnero Laine had great luck who in the 63rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Carlos Morillo from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 64th minute, Jose-Antonio Hordoñez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th match minute, UD Pillig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ysidro Bornes to maneuver through the defense. Marco Cornejo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carnero Laine stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Morillo's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. UD Limbo's Matias Concha got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Urtungo Berraondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Morillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rios Aramberri lost his temper 83 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of UD Limbo booed when UD Pillig was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rios Aramberri didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jose-Antonio Hordoñez came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the UD Pillig fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose-Antonio Hordoñez couldn't finish the play. Urtungo Berraondo charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urtungo Berraondo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd minute, Urtungo Berraondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelino Mier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
