Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Domingo Castaño made the kick off which started today's match. Ramirez Noguer in the 5thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Calle Tecla, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Jayaga in the 7th minute of play forced Cuyuja SC's goalkeeper Calle Tecla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domingo Castaño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reyes Murillas having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Trabana SC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodríguez Sagaseta came free, but Reyes Murillas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodríguez Sagaseta in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reyes Murillas saved Trabana SC from getting behind. After some careless play in the Trabana SC defense, Domingo Castaño kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reyes Murillas. The Trabana SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reyes Murillas should have stopped the shot. Rodríguez Sagaseta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Reyes Murillas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Castaño in the 25th minute of the match. Ramirez Noguers short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Calle Tecla to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Freddy Jayaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Freddy Jayaga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodríguez Sagaseta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Reyes Murillas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cuyuja SC's Calle Tecla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Jayaga in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Cuyuja SC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Freddy Jayaga to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Miguel Perrote mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cuyuja SC and the Trabana SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cuyuja SC's Miguel Perrote got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Calle Tecla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zoilo Atencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the game, Santos Sorriba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trabana SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cuyuja SC the free kick. Trabana SC's Freddy Jayaga pulled a muscle in his leg after 58 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 59th match minute, Cuyuja SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Tu to maneuver through the defense. Cuyuja SC's Calle Tecla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zoilo Atencio in the 60th minute of play. Trabana SC's Reyes Murillas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Trabana SC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Trabana SC's Aires Mar got a free kick in the 64th minute. Domingo Castaño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Trabana SC booed when Cuyuja SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luzuriaga Isoba didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ramirez Noguer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingo Castaño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramirez Noguer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Trabana SC's Reyes Murillas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Castaño in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Ramirez Noguer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 94 minutes, Ramirez Noguer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trabana SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramirez Noguer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Calle Tecla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramirez Noguer in the 97th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cuyuja SC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
