José-Francisco Beite dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Estacio Figueira sped through UD Cutuglahua's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of José-Francisco Beite. 胡思彬 made in the 25th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Sánchez Agüero. An unexpectedly hard shot by Estacio Figueira in the 26th minute of play forced UD Cutuglahua's goalkeeper José-Francisco Beite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonardo Seguin struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Nestor Aristeguieta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Cutuglahua. The supporters of Fortaleza FC booed when UD Cutuglahua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Seguin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Fortaleza FC's Diego Varez got a free kick in the 78th minute. After 80 played minutes UD Cutuglahua got a freekick which was hit by Javier Castiñeira. The Fortaleza FC fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Fortaleza FC's Criban Socobio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. In the 89th minute, Leonardo Seguin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Velasco Mirabal fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UD Cutuglahua's protests and gave Velasco Mirabal a yellow card for diving instead. Sánchez Agüero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. José-Francisco Beite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fortaleza FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
