UD CONGO's Fiallos Gargante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by García Oñativia in the 5th minute of play. Kenneth Solmose received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Rios Alcocer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nunez Ungia kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Rios Alcocer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lajos Détári in the 11th minute of play. Rodríguez Angles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lastra Risel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rodríguez Angles was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 17 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, one of UD CONGO:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for UD CONGO. The referee gave Quinjeo a penalty, 18 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fabian Randoli, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of UD CONGO's Fiallos Gargante. 1-0. Lastra Risel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Fiallos Gargante skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Lajos Détári had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Quinjeo booed when UD CONGO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martinez Elizondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lastra Risel got free with Fiallos Gargante in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lastra Risel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Fiallos Gargante made a huge save. In the 45th minute Bolívar Fitado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fiallos Gargante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yoelvis Pumares kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and García Oñativia made a kick off. Kenneth Solmose sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The UD CONGO players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
