Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Santos Cortun kicked off to start the match. In the 10th minute there was a penalty for Etelvina FC. Oso Loyola stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gómez Arnedo. 0-1. Espínola Berroa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Xavier Alanis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Santos Cortun put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Xavier Alanis. In the 20th minute, Santos Cortun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Cortun in the 23rd minute of play forced Etelvina FC's goalkeeper Xavier Alanis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 played minutes UD Chihuinda got a freekick which was hit by Juan-Pablo Cepa. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind UD Chihuinda's goalkeeper Gómez Arnedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Santos Cortun kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute of the match Marcelo Cantera shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gómez Arnedo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 31 minutes of play, Etelvina FC's Polo Mellado made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gómez Arnedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Espínola Berroa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when UD Chihuinda's Santos Cortun in the 39th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Xavier Alanis was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Etelvina FC through an amazing save. Espínola Berroa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavier Alanis having to interfere. A collision led to UD Chihuinda getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Kléber Buscando hit a great ball. Gómez Arnedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garcia Mandojana in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Garcia Mandojana to make the kick off. Xavier Alanis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Cortun, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. A collision led to UD Chihuinda getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Cruz Bengolea hit a great ball. With a little luck, UD Chihuinda's Gómez Arnedo got control of the ball when Polo Mellado tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Garcia Mandojana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Espínola Berroa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Etelvina FC's Miguel Caldevila got a free kick in the 66th minute. Garcia Mandojana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Gómez Arnedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santos Cortun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Polo Mellado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zuriko Lejarazu kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Espínola Berroa might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xavier Alanis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Espínola Berroa ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Espínola Berroa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xavier Alanis was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Kléber Buscando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Xavier Alanis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oso Loyola's late challenge caught a UD Chihuinda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oso Loyola helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Etelvina FC's Oso Loyola got a free kick in the 91st minute. Xines Rubio hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Chants of Etelvina FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as UD Chihuinda had held the ball for most of the match.
