Oswaldo Granell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aries. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Terron in the 25th minute of play forced Portugal.F.C.'s goalkeeper Oswaldo Granell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugenio Bomba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Valderas in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Radowit Lampe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Ricardo Terron took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Oswaldo Granell to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 41 minutes, Radowit Lampe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aries's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radowit Lampe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Radowit Lampe got free with Oswaldo Granell in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Mauricio Murueta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

George Valderas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yánez Vallejo in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oswaldo Granell saved Portugal.F.C. from getting behind. Aries's attack was well implemented in the 58th minute, but when Radowit Lampe was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Ricardo Terron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Granell having to interfere. If Ricardo Terron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 69th minute Yánez Vallejo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oswaldo Granell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 71 minutes, Radowit Lampe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aries's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radowit Lampe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oswaldo Granell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yánez Vallejo in the 82nd minute of the match.
