UD Molinopamba's Orlando Marimon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save UD Molinopamba from getting a goal against them. UD Molinopamba's Isaac Eguiara got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isaac Eguiara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonides Puebla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Leonides Puebla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Eguiara in the 18th minute of play. Uxio Caloca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Marimon having to interfere. In the 28th match minute, Moloboc FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincente Garza to maneuver through the defense. Vistruario Modet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vistruario Modet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Puebla having to interfere. Isaac Eguiara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Leonides Puebla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vistruario Modet to make the kick off. After 60 minutes, Lara Lobato mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Moloboc FC and the UD Molinopamba players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th minute, Lara Lobato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urki Caldero in the 69th minute of play forced UD Molinopamba's goalkeeper Orlando Marimon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Moloboc FC booed when UD Molinopamba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Capon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vistruario Modet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Puebla having to interfere. With a little luck, Moloboc FC's Leonides Puebla got control of the ball when Isaac Eguiara tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. One of Moloboc FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of UD Molinopamba:s goal. Mario Siruendo placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The supporters of UD Molinopamba booed when Moloboc FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasco Nicolas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, UD Molinopamba's Isaac Eguiara dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. If Vistruario Modet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonides Puebla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ximenes Babia in the 95th minute of the match. 97 minutes into the match, UD Molinopamba's goal looked a bit too open when Urki Caldero came free, but Orlando Marimon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Moloboc FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. UD Molinopamba were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
