Batista Alari was a little too slow when Sotomayor Poblaciones got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-0. Arévalo Azpiroz struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Manolo Cuartas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC GUAYAS. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in COBRAS FC reached it. If Damian Cembraña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xesus Campomanes kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. The supporters of FC GUAYAS booed when COBRAS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arlín Calvon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute Damian Cembraña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manolo Cuartas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
