Liga S.C's Xuan Benitez got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to CD Pianguapi getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Gustavo Felipez hit a great ball. Liga S.C's Rogerio Mostache proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Liga S.C from getting a goal against them. Rogerio Mostache came out of the goal and Manuel Archibeque tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes into the match, Liga S.C's goalkeeper Rogerio Mostache had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivan Sarabia. If Xuan Benitez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After 97 played minutes CD Pianguapi got a freekick which was hit by Xavierlada Leys. After a rather tough play, CD Pianguapi's Veto Gallostegui got a free kick in the 99th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Liga S.C's Chucho Abajas tried to score from far away in the 100th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
