Roldan Tigero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Fidel Echeverria made a huge save. When Estevez Urdiñola fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Futboro SC's protests and gave Estevez Urdiñola a yellow card for diving instead. Futboro SC's Cortez Pla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diaz Flayre in the 20th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Futboro SC's zone, Diaz Flayre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cortez Pla came out of the goal and Diaz Flayre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute, Arévalo Lecin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gotham City Rogues FC's Fidel Echeverria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xantalen Ramos in the 47th minute of play. In the 47th match minute, Gotham City Rogues FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pancho Sauca to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Diaz Flayre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cortez Pla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Intriago Parada hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. If Xantalen Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cortez Pla had great luck who in the 81stth minute grab hold of the ball when Pancho Sauca from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Fidel Echeverria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xantalen Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Futboro SC's Cortez Pla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Futboro SC from getting a goal against them. Diaz Flayre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the match, Gotham City Rogues FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Churruca came free, but Fidel Echeverria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 94th minute of the match Pancho Sauca completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Pancho Sauca a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 95th minute, Pancho Sauca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arévalo Lecin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
