Xuaco Guitian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Edwin Asegninolaza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Noriega Cortez sped through Imperio's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edwin Asegninolaza. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Imperio's goalkeeper Edwin Asegninolaza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
