With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tyrone Goma prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Xuaco Guitian hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Ataulfo Villanueva made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Rubio Bernaldo sent off a good shot on target. Xuaco Guitian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tyrone Goma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hidalgo Barron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Xuaco Guitian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Correo's supporters rose to their feet, but Xuaco Guitian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tyrone Goma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the CD Pastoriza defense, Xuaco Guitian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tyrone Goma. The CD Pastoriza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tyrone Goma should have stopped the shot. Ibarra Hormaza charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ibarra Hormaza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ataulfo Villanueva was a little too slow when Brito Herbella got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 1-1. Correo's Texeira Marcos got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xuaco Guitian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tyrone Goma having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Noriega Cortez was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Enrico Anguciana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tyrone Goma was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Xuaco Guitian showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 58 minute of play. With a little luck, CD Pastoriza's Tyrone Goma got control of the ball when Xuaco Guitian tried to sneak it across the goal line.
