After a rather tough play, Shotor SC's Rolando Chavarre got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilfredo Pages was the one to do the kick off. If Washington Sotolongo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilfredo Pages in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gonzales Gobantes saved Juventud Petrolera FC from getting behind. When Wilfredo Pages came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Shotor SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilfredo Pages couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Juventud Petrolera FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Suárez Costales hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, Washington Sotolongo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gonzales Gobantes. Juventud Petrolera FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Washington Sotolongo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The audience was convinced that Wilfredo Pages's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gonzales Gobantes was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Campos Paniagua hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Enrique Maestu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 91st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 96 played minutes Victor Baranda rounded Shotor SC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1.
