If Cristian Santiyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, CD Llumaguango's Xandro Vuelta got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Insua Otal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute, Xamin Partearroyo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and CD Llumaguango's Blandón Gargollo didn't even have to move. Cristian Santiyan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After recieving a nice pass, CD Llumaguango's Klimowicz Obaldia tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Guerrón Varas's late challenge caught a CD Llumaguango's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guerrón Varas helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to UD Cacha getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Guerrón Varas hit a great ball. The supporters of CD Llumaguango booed when UD Cacha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Santiyan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guerrón Varas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Blandón Gargollo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristian Santiyan was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Cumbicus Tuo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner ended in Leonides Helguera almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CD Llumaguango's Blandón Gargollo did a great save. Blandón Gargollo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Capel, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Blandón Gargollo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Capel in the 58th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, UD Cacha's Guerrón Varas got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 70th match minute, UD Cacha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vennancio Cardigondi to maneuver through the defense. UD Cacha's Alejandro Capel got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xandro Vuelta kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. A collision led to CD Llumaguango getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Xandro Vuelta hit a great ball. In the 76th minute, Xamin Partearroyo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and CD Llumaguango's Blandón Gargollo didn't even have to move. Zarando Taracena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Viñal having to make a save. UD Cacha's Cristian Santiyan suffered a fractured collar bone after 87 minutes and couldn't finish the game. CD Llumaguango's Xandro Vuelta got his second yellow card of the match in the 87th minute. The referee ordered Xandro Vuelta off the ground. In the 89th minute, Xandro Vuelta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zarando Taracena's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Viñal firmly grabbed it by the left post. UD Cacha's Jonathan Viñal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save UD Cacha from getting a goal against them. The UD Cacha supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching CD Llumaguango's performance. The match ended with a win for CD Llumaguango.
