The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Lever Bronthers:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CD Gullan:s goal. In the 20th match minute, CD Gullan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Puga to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute Walter Zubiaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rocio Minguet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leandro Gadañon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rocio Minguet having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, García Feijo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Gullan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lever Bronthers the free kick. Jose-Antonio Barrena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Rubiero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the game, Ismael Rubiero recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jose-Antonio Barrena. Ismael Rubiero showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ismael Rubiero to strike the kick off in the second half. Lever Bronthers's Jose-Antonio Barrena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salomon Molfi in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salomon Molfi in the 54th minute of play forced Lever Bronthers's goalkeeper Jose-Antonio Barrena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Simon Rolado reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rocio Minguet. The goal made the score 3-2. Jose-Antonio Barrena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Rubiero in the 61st minute of the match. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Simon Rolado sped through CD Gullan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rocio Minguet. If Leandro Gadañon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, CD Gullan's Rocio Minguet got control of the ball when Simon Rolado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jose-Antonio Barrena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cordero Sirgo in the 74th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Sandianes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Gullan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lever Bronthers the free kick. Maximiliano Sandianes hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. If Leandro Gadañon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walter Zubiaga hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mauro Lupidana during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 87 played minutes Lever Bronthers got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Lupidana. 93 minutes into the match, CD Gullan's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Gadañon came free, but Rocio Minguet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lever Bronthers were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
