Spectators: 7272 (Terracing: 5456, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 144) UD Pula's Roman Corral started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Roman Corral took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Faustino Caraballo. Faustino Caraballo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 10 minutes into the game, UD Pula's Guerrón Esqueda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Faustino Caraballo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. A collision led to UD Pula getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Chatruc Quijana hit a great ball. When Desiderio Artadi came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Chacapamba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Desiderio Artadi couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute, Valerio Melgosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Chacapamba's zone, Guerrón Esqueda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustino Caraballo came out of the goal and Guerrón Esqueda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Chacapamba's Desiderio Artadi got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 24th minute of the match Oscar Cornejo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leo Peciña showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Rios Bernat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chacapamba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UD Pula the free kick. After 27 played minutes Chacapamba got a freekick which was hit by Rios Bernat. The supporters of UD Pula booed when Chacapamba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Cornejo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xabel Artime recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 33 played minutes, Chacapamba's Oscar Cornejo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leo Peciña came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chacapamba reached it. With an all-out effort, UD Pula's Faustino Caraballo threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roman Corral, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 38th minute, Sandro Merodio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of UD Pula booed when Chacapamba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Cornejo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rios Bernat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rios Bernat to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, UD Pula's goalkeeper Leo Peciña had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sandro Merodio. In the 54th minute, Sandro Merodio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leo Peciña was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 56th match minute, Chacapamba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rios Bernat to maneuver through the defense. After 60 played minutes UD Pula got a freekick which was hit by Garcés Ayala. Faustino Caraballo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Corral, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. UD Pula's Leo Peciña proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save UD Pula from getting a goal against them. Desiderio Artadi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Faustino Caraballo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vergaray Agosto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 76 minutes, Vergaray Agosto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UD Pula and the Chacapamba players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to UD Pula getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Vergaray Agosto hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rios Bernat in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leo Peciña saved UD Pula from getting behind. Faustino Caraballo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guerrón Esqueda in the 94th minute of the match. Many of Chacapamba's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Chacapamba may have spent more time on the ball, but UD Pula were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
