Spectators: 7312 (Terracing: 5485, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mauro Rujido started the match with the kick off. López Cavero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emiliano Moro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th match minute, Amalusa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Toribia to maneuver through the defense. Vilson Gascon hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. If López Cavero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atletico Pumas's Lorenzo Cortada got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 17 played minutes Amalusa FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Toribia. After 20 played minutes Amalusa FC got a freekick which was hit by Almandoz Pineda. If López Cavero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 24 minutes, López Cavero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Pumas's supporters crossed their fingers, but López Cavero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Emiliano Moro managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Atletico Pumas's Lorenzo Cortada fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Guamán Lastras hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. When López Cavero came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Atletico Pumas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that López Cavero couldn't finish the play. In the 34th match minute, Amalusa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guamán Lastras to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 35 minutes, López Cavero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Pumas's supporters crossed their fingers, but López Cavero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Amalusa FC's Guamán Lastras got a free kick in the 38th minute. Xian Rada might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Orlando Sendin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xian Rada ran back to his position shaking his head. Orlando Sendin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xian Rada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xian Rada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 52nd minute Lorenzo Cortada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Moro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atletico Pumas's López Cavero got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Lorenzo Cortada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emiliano Moro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from López Cavero, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 63 minutes, Paolo Ungia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletico Pumas and the Amalusa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mauro Rujido blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Orlando Sendin having to make a save. Emiliano Moro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from López Cavero in the 69th minute of the match. Lorenzo Cortada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Moro having to interfere. Santiago Gian took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emiliano Moro. Amalusa FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Xulian Arieta's late challenge caught a Atletico Pumas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xulian Arieta helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th minute, Xulian Arieta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emiliano Moro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Cortada in the 84th minute of play. Emiliano Moro came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Pumas's López Cavero. But to his dismay, López Cavero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 93rd minute, Atletico Pumas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Xian Rada fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 93rd match minute, Atletico Pumas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by López Cavero to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Atletico Pumas had won after a very even match.
