The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Peral got free with Mora Septiem in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marquez Cerredo to strike the kick off in the second half. Arias SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Peral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mora Septiem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Calderón Canto during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mora Septiem came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Arias SC's Bruno Basallan. But to his dismay, Bruno Basallan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 95 minutes into the game, Stacio Monelo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Curacaco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arias SC the free kick. After 95 played minutes CD Curacaco got a freekick which was hit by Stacio Monelo.
