Ordóñez Vilamajo charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ordóñez Vilamajo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Alberto Velaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. In the 33rd minute, Montalvo Garriga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ximeno Mariaza in the 35th minute of play forced Oretga FC's goalkeeper Alfonso Valpuesta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th match minute, UD Penipe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duarte Molner to maneuver through the defense. UD Penipe's Obregón Miña proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save UD Penipe from getting a goal against them. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alberto Velaz to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, UD Penipe's Ximeno Mariaza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfonso Valpuesta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Alfonso Valpuesta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Montoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Ximeno Mariaza managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Penipe's supporters rose to their feet, but Ximeno Mariaza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Valpuesta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Garcia Carces hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. The supporters of UD Penipe booed when Oretga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uxio Quesada didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, UD Penipe's Luis-Antonio Gordo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Alberto Velaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Obregón Miña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Velaz in the 78th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, UD Penipe's Gonzalo Montoro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of UD Penipe:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Oretga FC:s goal. Uxio Quesada shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Alberto Velaz struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Obregón Miña didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oretga FC. Obregón Miña stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Velaz's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. In the 98th minute of the match, Ximeno Mariaza got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alfonso Valpuesta was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Uxio Quesada kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. The long shot by Luis-Antonio Gordo in the 99th minute really tested Alfonso Valpuesta's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. UD Penipe had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
