Tigua's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Zoraida the free kick. After 5 played minutes Tigua got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Piñeros. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Gimenez during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tigua's Carlos Gimenez got a free kick in the 7th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of CD Zoraida:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tigua:s goal. CD Zoraida:s Mateus Cuetos showed great skill when he stopped Juan Ergueta:s penalty. 14 minutes into the match, Juan Ergueta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mateus Cuetos. CD Zoraida's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Ergueta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Mateus Cuetos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaldo Rosinos, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romo Martel in the 25th minute of play forced Tigua's goalkeeper Bran Pardabu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Ubaldo Rosinos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tigua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ubaldo Rosinos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Tigua booed when CD Zoraida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Solares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mateus Cuetos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Omar Vanegas went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Ubaldo Rosinos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CD Zoraida's Mateus Cuetos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Rosinos in the 34th minute of play. Romo Martel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Bran Pardabu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The CD Zoraida players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tigua were winning 0-2.

Romo Martel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bran Pardabu having to interfere. In the 53rd minute, Nicolás Llorengoz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in CD Zoraida's zone, Ubaldo Rosinos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateus Cuetos came out of the goal and Ubaldo Rosinos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Omar Vanegas got free with Mateus Cuetos in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Omar Vanegas came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Tigua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omar Vanegas couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Tigua booed when CD Zoraida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Solares didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Tigua's Ubaldo Rosinos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mateus Cuetos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Nicolás Llorengoz notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Tigua's Bran Pardabu. Bran Pardabu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zuzen Monterrey took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bran Pardabu. Tigua's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nicolás Llorengoz scored 2-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bran Pardabu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 83 minutes into the match, Tigua's goal looked a bit too open when Romo Martel came free, but Bran Pardabu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romo Martel in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bran Pardabu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in CD Zoraida's zone, Omar Vanegas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateus Cuetos came out of the goal and Omar Vanegas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Omar Vanegas got free with Mateus Cuetos in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
