After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Rodriguez Arango managed to get in a good position for a shot. Collin Sporting Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodriguez Arango was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xandro Mena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodriguez Arango got free with Xandro Mena in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fausto Pedraza hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Collin Sporting Club's Arlín Manurga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xerardo Bachicabo in the 23rd minute of play. Luis Ollacuria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Rodriguez Arango's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xandro Mena was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 27th minute Cagua Portera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xandro Mena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st match minute, Casiguana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Ollacuria to maneuver through the defense. Casiguana's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Nicolas Real scored to the left of an out of position Xandro Mena, making the score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Casiguana's zone, Rodriguez Arango stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xandro Mena came out of the goal and Rodriguez Arango tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luis Ollacuria was the one to do the kick off. Casiguana's Xandro Mena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodriguez Arango in the 60th minute of play. Xandro Mena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cagua Portera went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 67th minute Nicolas Real shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xandro Mena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xandro Mena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodriguez Arango, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After 75 minutes, Pedro Nurueña mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Casiguana and the Collin Sporting Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pedro Nurueña hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Luis Ollacuria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xandro Mena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodriguez Arango, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cagua Portera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xandro Mena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Collin Sporting Club had played much better football throughout.
