Urbez Tixido dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Flavio Raedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Urbez Tixido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flavio Raedo scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Urbez Tixido, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Sarrapastroso FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Figueroa Barrosa hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, Tercero Sahagun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos-Alberto Alari. Otavalo S.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tercero Sahagun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flavio Raedo during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Otavalo S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Raedo to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Sarrapastroso FC's zone, Lucio Sigler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urbez Tixido came out of the goal and Lucio Sigler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 33 minutes into the game, Fidel Bedia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sarrapastroso FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Otavalo S.C. the free kick. In the 33rd match minute, Sarrapastroso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Bedia to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Sigler in the 42nd minute of play forced Sarrapastroso FC's goalkeeper Urbez Tixido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos-Alberto Alari came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Sarrapastroso FC's Alonso Arcelay. But to his dismay, Alonso Arcelay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. If Tercero Sahagun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tercero Sahagun to make the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Flavio Raedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Otavalo S.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio Raedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Xacobo Castaosa hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Figueroa Barrosa sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Otavalo S.C.'s Carlos-Alberto Alari didn't even have to move. Carlos-Alberto Alari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xantalen Carabia in the 65th minute of play. Sarrapastroso FC's Urbez Tixido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Sarrapastroso FC from getting a goal against them. When Sarrapastroso FC's Tercero Sahagun in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Otavalo S.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Urbez Tixido was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Xacintu Bañuelos. After a rather tough play, Sarrapastroso FC's Maximiliano Barboa got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 92nd minute, Tercero Sahagun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sarrapastroso FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. The Otavalo S.C. players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Sarrapastroso FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
