The audience thought a goal was coming when Chiriboga Villavicencio got free with Ulizes Rilo in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 4th minute, Lavallén Narria left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leopardos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Lavallén Narria notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of JAC FC's Jácome Umpanera. Jácome Umpanera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lavallén Narria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Lavallén Narria made a precise shot to the right of Jácome Umpanera. JAC FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Leopardos FC's Paulo Solorzano got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lopez Obies hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, one of JAC FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for JAC FC. After 30 minutes of play, Leopardos FC's Lavallén Narria made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jácome Umpanera was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to JAC FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. De-Jesús Muelas hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lavallén Narria in the 38th minute of play forced JAC FC's goalkeeper Jácome Umpanera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Leopardos FC's Adriano Melito got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After the first half Leopardos FC were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

54 minutes into the game, Lavallén Narria cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Jácome Umpanera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jácome Umpanera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lavallén Narria, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After a defensive mix-up in JAC FC's zone, Lavallén Narria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jácome Umpanera came out of the goal and Lavallén Narria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 0-8 became the score in the 64th minute when Lavallén Narria elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Javier Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Zayvius Capelo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 69th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, JAC FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lavallén Narria came free, but Jácome Umpanera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, JAC FC's goalkeeper Jácome Umpanera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Solorzano. Jácome Umpanera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lavallén Narria, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Paulo Solorzano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Jácome Umpanera made a huge save. 81 minutes into the game, Paulo Solorzano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Jácome Umpanera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, JAC FC's Aires Arco got a free kick in the 86th minute. Paulo Solorzano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Jácome Umpanera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Leopardos FC booed when JAC FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Leopardos FC's zone, Aires Arco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulizes Rilo came out of the goal and Aires Arco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute, Leopardos FC's Lavallén Narria ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jácome Umpanera. Jácome Umpanera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. The JAC FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Leopardos FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
