Isaac Calviño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Mecaur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th match minute, RED DEVILS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by España Pradias to maneuver through the defense. Alex Criales came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Isaac Calviño could save by the left post. Fabricio Valiente hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Dennis Mecaur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isaac Calviño made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Alex Criales sent off a good shot on target. RED DEVILS's Isaac Calviño proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save RED DEVILS from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, RED DEVILS's Jácome Reve got a free kick in the 37th minute. Isaac Calviño made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alex Criales in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute Hernan Arichaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Maceda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dennis Mecaur to strike the kick off in the second half. RED DEVILS's Isaac Calviño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Criales in the 53rd minute of play. Alex Criales struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Isaac Calviño didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for brazil. Xosepin Aramberri who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Sebastian Maceda when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Hernan Arichaga got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Isaac Calviño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Mecaur in the 95th minute of the match. RED DEVILS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
