Spectators: 7372 (Terracing: 5530, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 147) Manila SC's Pio Iriarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogerio Relloso in the 4th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Xinto Macon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manila SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Xinto Macon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Momparte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xinto Macon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Danilo Momparte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Manila SC's Xinto Macon in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Deportivo juega duro's goalie prevented a goal. After 13 played minutes Manila SC got a freekick which was hit by Navarro Lasa. In the 14th minute of the match Facundo Jabariego shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pio Iriarte showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cruz Fuente hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Salomon Palazuelo had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Rogerio Relloso charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rogerio Relloso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Deportivo juega duro getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Rogerio Relloso hit a great ball. Jorge Quintianan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Momparte having to interfere. Danilo Momparte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorge Quintianan went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Manila SC's zone, Xilo Zuaza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pio Iriarte came out of the goal and Xilo Zuaza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Manila SC's Peter Doñez got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute, Xilo Zuaza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Monta got free with Pio Iriarte in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manila SC's Xinto Macon got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jorge Quintianan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Momparte having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorge Quintianan to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Xinto Macon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manila SC and the Deportivo juega duro players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th minute, Xinto Macon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorge Quintianan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Manila SC's Peter Doñez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danilo Momparte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Xilo Zuaza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Monta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pio Iriarte having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Xinto Macon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Deportivo juega duro's Juan Monta got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo juega duro's zone, Xinto Macon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Momparte came out of the goal and Xinto Macon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute, Deportivo juega duro's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jorge Quintianan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Xilo Zuaza sped through Manila SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pio Iriarte.
