If Pedro Achutegui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nacho Paderniga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Villapecellin, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Carlos Villapecellin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bombillo's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Villapecellin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nacho Paderniga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 37 played minutes CD Yambaca got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Gestoso. Carlos Villapecellin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Achutegui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nacho Paderniga having to interfere. 42 minutes into the game, Alarcón Sagarteguieta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bombillo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Yambaca the free kick. In the 42nd match minute, Bombillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alarcón Sagarteguieta to maneuver through the defense. Zilar Caliz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Catalan, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Lastra Gimenez's late challenge caught a CD Yambaca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Ismael Caceres's late challenge caught a CD Yambaca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ismael Caceres helped the player get up and apologised. Ismael Caceres hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute Lisandro Catalan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zilar Caliz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Villapecellin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 94th minute. Bombillo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ismael Caceres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nacho Paderniga having to make a save. CD Yambaca's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
