Norberto Reza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ignacio Grijan in the 4th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roque Dolmos got free with Norberto Reza in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roque Dolmos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Norberto Reza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. LIGA RECAMPEON's Norberto Reza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xofre Canzino in the 20th minute of play. In the 24th minute Krikorian Zamarripa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xian Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cotosaz SC's Ignacio Grijan got a free kick in the 27th minute. Xian Matos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Krikorian Zamarripa's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute LIGA RECAMPEON were awarded a corner. Hidalgo Ballestero went to the cornerflag to take it. Norberto Reza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xofre Canzino in the 40th minute of the match. Xian Matos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krikorian Zamarripa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xian Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Chumacero in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cotosaz SC's goalkeeper Xian Matos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Chumacero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Roque Dolmos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Cotosaz SC's Xian Matos got control of the ball when Krikorian Zamarripa tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Abeijon during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th match minute, LIGA RECAMPEON was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Abeijon to maneuver through the defense. Cotosaz SC's Valerio Pumeral couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 58th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for LIGA RECAMPEON. Valerio Pumeral's late challenge caught a LIGA RECAMPEON's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valerio Pumeral helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd minute, Valerio Pumeral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 65th minute, when LIGA RECAMPEON's Eduardo Agraña after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Xian Matos in Cotosaz SC's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Francisco Chumacero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Norberto Reza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xofre Canzino, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After having played for 83 minutes, Roque Dolmos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cotosaz SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roque Dolmos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roque Dolmos in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Norberto Reza saved LIGA RECAMPEON from getting behind. After a rather tough play, LIGA RECAMPEON's Cevallos Noriega got a free kick in the 86th minute. Roque Dolmos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Reza having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in LIGA RECAMPEON fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty! Valerio Pumeral shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
