Lavallén Norzagaray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valery Real, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Bagui Abrils short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Lavallén Norzagaray to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of CD Riochico booed when Emelexxx was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jozef Friedl didn't get a good kick on the ball. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CD Riochico reached it. Valery Real took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lavallén Norzagaray. Lavallén Norzagaray dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Loco Lombillo scored 2-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guerrero Carbajal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Loco Lombillo was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Loco Lombillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guerrero Carbajal was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, CD Riochico's Alexander Olate got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute Valery Real shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lavallén Norzagaray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CD Riochico's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lavallén Norzagaray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valery Real, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lavallén Norzagaray didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valery Real went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. In the 81st match minute, CD Riochico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loco Lombillo to maneuver through the defense. Lavallén Norzagaray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valery Real in the 84th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Bagui Abril cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Lavallén Norzagaray was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
