Lavallén Arrocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Alejandro Afaba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boris Castellana in the 9th minute of play forced AKD's goalkeeper Vermudo Nicolas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alejandro Afaba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lavallén Arrocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Lavallén Arrocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vermudo Nicolas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boris Castellana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alejandro Afaba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lavallén Arrocha in the 22nd minute of the match. AKD's Vermudo Nicolas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubarna Benavides in the 27th minute of play. Ubarna Benavides recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ubarna Benavides blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vermudo Nicolas having to make a save. Martinez Escrig's late challenge caught a UD Jauregui's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martinez Escrig helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, AKD's Martinez Escrig got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of AKD:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of UD Jauregui:s goal. In the 34th minute there was a penalty for UD Jauregui. Ayoví Lantadilla stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vermudo Nicolas. 0-1. Boris Castellana struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Vermudo Nicolas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Jauregui. Boris Castellana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vermudo Nicolas having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boris Castellana in the 47th minute of play forced AKD's goalkeeper Vermudo Nicolas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lavallén Arrocha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Ubarna Benavides managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Jauregui's supporters rose to their feet, but Ubarna Benavides was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vermudo Nicolas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 60 played minutes AKD got a freekick which was hit by Martinez Escrig. When Ubarna Benavides came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the UD Jauregui fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ubarna Benavides couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute Ubarna Benavides shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vermudo Nicolas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ubarna Benavides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 67 minutes into the match, UD Jauregui's Ubarna Benavides sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vermudo Nicolas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, UD Jauregui's goal looked a bit too open when Lavallén Arrocha came free, but Alejandro Afaba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee showed Juan-Pablo Sigüenza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th match minute, AKD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan-Pablo Sigüenza to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the AKD defense, Boris Castellana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vermudo Nicolas. The AKD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vermudo Nicolas should have stopped the shot. In the 96th minute, AKD's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Boris Castellana fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. UD Jauregui's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
