Spectators: 6684 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Braulio Molla made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd match minute, CD Cuajaron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Pozos to maneuver through the defense. FC BARZA's Zeru Redondas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Weterio Cerillo in the 8th minute of play. Zeru Redondas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucas Laures in the 10th minute. In the 15th minute, Lucas Laures got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 15 minutes, Americo Caicedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC BARZA and the CD Cuajaron players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th minute Weterio Cerillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeru Redondas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Laures received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Zeru Redondas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeru Redondas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Weterio Cerillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Weterio Cerillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeru Redondas having to interfere. 27 minutes into the game, Lucas Laures cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Zeru Redondas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Weterio Cerillo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 32nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Lucas Laures sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to FC BARZA getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Camilo Hoz hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the game, Cotera Feliph was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC BARZA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Cuajaron the free kick. A collision led to FC BARZA getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Cotera Feliph hit a great ball. After some careless play in the FC BARZA defense, Lucas Laures kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zeru Redondas. The FC BARZA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeru Redondas should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC BARZA's goalkeeper Zeru Redondas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 55th minute Lucas Laures shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeru Redondas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Parisi Barrena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Molla in the 56th minute of the match. Geovanny Ali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Parisi Barrena was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Braulio Molla showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 65 minute of play. Geovanny Ali might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Parisi Barrena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geovanny Ali ran back to his position shaking his head. Cotera Feliph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Geovanny Ali ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Parisi Barrena was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Lucas Laures received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Zeru Redondas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Weterio Cerillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 95 minutes of play, CD Cuajaron's Weterio Cerillo made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zeru Redondas was left in no man's land by his defense there! CD Cuajaron were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC BARZA for a fine match.
