Spectators: 7372 (Terracing: 5530, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 147) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pepito Payva kicked off to start the match. If Teofilo Cuadro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucio Burualla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gutierrez Astiategui having to interfere. Gloria Saltos's Alonzo Goyeneta got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16thth minute of the game Lucio Burualla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ATOM F.C.'s Gutierrez Astiategui was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teofilo Cuadro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Costante Iglesias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 25 played minutes, Gloria Saltos's Bernardo Herriaga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gutierrez Astiategui came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gloria Saltos reached it. Teofilo Cuadro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the game, Noriega Sominaya was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ATOM F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gloria Saltos the free kick. In the 35th match minute, ATOM F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noriega Sominaya to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Gloria Saltos's Mauro Soraiz tried to score from far away in the 36th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Cuadro in the 42nd minute of play forced Gloria Saltos's goalkeeper Costante Iglesias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Lucio Burualla made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Fernandez Ubera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Pepito Payva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Gloria Saltos's zone, Teofilo Cuadro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Costante Iglesias came out of the goal and Teofilo Cuadro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucio Burualla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alonzo Goyeneta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gutierrez Astiategui having to interfere. Noriega Sominaya kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Mauro Soraiz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gutierrez Astiategui quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 88 minutes into the match, Gloria Saltos's goalkeeper Costante Iglesias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teofilo Cuadro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pepito Payva in the 95th minute of play forced Gloria Saltos's goalkeeper Costante Iglesias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teofilo Cuadro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Costante Iglesias having to interfere. ATOM F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
