The Perinaco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Veronica Torroba should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, UD Mier's Zuzen Mañaria got a free kick in the 11th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Eugenio Bailina kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arévalo Fontevilla. That made the score 1-1 in the 12 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xandro Iruz in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Veronica Torroba saved Perinaco FC from getting behind. After 26 minutes of play, UD Mier's Xandro Iruz made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Veronica Torroba was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 30th minute of the match Estrada Galli sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Veronica Torroba skillfully saved the ball. Urbano Cardigondi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arévalo Fontevilla having to interfere. Eugenio Bailina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eugenio Bailina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Arévalo Fontevilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xandro Iruz made a kick off. Arévalo Fontevilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Bailina in the 52nd minute of the match. Arévalo Fontevilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xandro Iruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Veronica Torroba having to interfere. Romulo Proenza struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Veronica Torroba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Mier. With a little luck, Perinaco FC's Veronica Torroba got control of the ball when Romulo Proenza tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Perinaco FC's zone, Xandro Iruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Veronica Torroba came out of the goal and Xandro Iruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The UD Mier players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
