With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xulio Vergas in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ur Garantos saved Calhua from getting behind. Veremundo Amo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wellington Yurrita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Veremundo Amo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wellington Yurrita, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xulio Vergas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Wellington Yurrita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Veremundo Amo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilmer Rioboo in the 54th minute of play forced Calhua's goalkeeper Ur Garantos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Xulio Vergas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ur Garantos. Calhua's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xulio Vergas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Thanks to some nice moves Frutos Burguete could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Veremundo Amo however easily saved by the left post. Wilmer Rioboo struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Ur Garantos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Rabya. 73 minutes into the match, CD Rabya's goal looked a bit too open when Wellington Yurrita came free, but Veremundo Amo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yambay Alvaredo kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. CD Rabya's Luis Haedo got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, Calhua's goal looked a bit too open when Wilmer Rioboo came free, but Ur Garantos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
