Spectators: 6676 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 0) Espiga Porlier started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pablo Velo in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolf Kvick prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cornelio Garaona struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Javier Lujarra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sevilla FC. Pablo Velo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Rolf Kvick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Sevilla FC's Espiga Porlier dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Sevilla FC's Xencio Moroño got a free kick in the 19th minute. Espiga Porlier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Javier Lujarra made a huge save. Rolf Kvick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Elguera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luca Popa's late challenge caught a Verdilla FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luca Popa helped the player get up and apologised. Luca Popa kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After 31 played minutes Sevilla FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Aranguren. Verdilla FC's Uhin Maeztu got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Uhin Maeztu put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Rolf Kvick. In the 39th minute, Espiga Porlier made a precise shot to the right of Javier Lujarra. Verdilla FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Javier Lujarra made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Espiga Porlier sent off a good shot on target. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Sevilla FC's Espiga Porlier got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sevilla FC's Luca Popa got his second yellow card of the match in the 58th minute. The referee ordered Luca Popa off the ground. 58 minutes into the game, one of Sevilla FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 61st minute there was a penalty for Verdilla FC. Claudio Benedid stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rolf Kvick. 3-3. 64 minutes into the game, Xencio Moroño was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sevilla FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Verdilla FC the free kick. Xencio Moroño hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the game, Sevilla FC's Espiga Porlier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Javier Lujarra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. Edison Pumares hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Xencio Moroño might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Javier Lujarra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xencio Moroño ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Espiga Porlier in the 75th minute of play forced Verdilla FC's goalkeeper Javier Lujarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th match minute, Sevilla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xencio Moroño to maneuver through the defense. Edison Pumares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Uhin Maeztu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Verdilla FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Uhin Maeztu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolf Kvick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pablo Velo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Rolf Kvick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauricio Palos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Javier Lujarra came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Sevilla FC's Espiga Porlier. But to his dismay, Espiga Porlier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-3. When the referee ended the match the Sevilla FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
